So...here I am!

Ok so I haven't written on my blogspot for a while! Just thought I'd share some random thoughts/ideas/opinions/observations.

Just recently moved to the Sunshine Coast, I am learning quickly how to be my own person and stand on my own two feet. So glad I didn't wait longer to do this....It's not so embarrassing being a 21 yr old who is doing her first grocery shop on her own, than a 25 yr old doing it...!! ha!

Learning how to trust in God and His protection...to be out in the big scary world on your own is quite daunting. But I know the same God who I fell in love with many years ago is just as real and active in my life today.

Learning how to believe in myself and push myself to do bigger things. Sometimes its so hard to think big in a world that says 'You need to have this, this, this, and this to succeed'. And if you don't have all those things - you don't have a very bright future!

But, I know I am a child of God and He has blessed my life and called me to greatness.

Here's a thought...what if to be 'great' you have to actually set things into motion personally to gradually build towards that state of being 'great'? I.E. Studying at uni/bible college/tafe/etc to educate yourself in a certain field which you are passionate about/interested in/believe in.

It's interesting that I've always thought of my calling as something that I will one day achieve, when the time is right. But what if YOU had to do something to work towards your calling....

Some people just think God will land your calling in your lap one day...somehow I don't think thats how He works.......
